About NowPrice
NowPrice is an independent live-price tracker for the numbers that move money — gold, currencies, crypto, fuel, interest rates and stocks. Built for clarity, freshness and accuracy across global markets.
Who runs it
NowPrice is built and maintained by a small independent team of engineers and editors. We are not part of an exchange, broker, bank or media conglomerate — and we take no commissions or affiliate revenue from the markets we cover. The site is funded out of pocket and supported by minimal display advertising.
What we cover
- Gold & precious metals — global spot (XAU, XAG, XPT, XPD) and COMEX futures, plus regional retail dealer prices.
- Currencies (FX) — major and emerging-market pairs, ECB reference rates, and selected regional bank rates.
- Crypto — top tokens by market cap with futures, on-chain stats and history.
- Fuel & energy — world crude (WTI, Brent), gasoline, diesel and natural gas futures, plus regional retail prices.
- Interest rates — central-bank policy rates and selected commercial bank deposit tables.
- Stocks — major global indices and selected national tickers.
Languages & regions
NowPrice publishes in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Vietnamese. We provide global benchmarks for all readers, plus deeper regional detail for markets where local pricing diverges meaningfully from spot — currently Vietnam (gold dealers, bank deposit rates) and Brazil (PTAX). The same global data and methodology underpin every language.
Where the data comes from
Each fetcher pulls from authoritative public sources: Yahoo Finance, the European Central Bank, the U.S. Energy Information Administration, exchange APIs (Binance, CoinGecko), and bank-published rate tables. The full list, refresh cadence and last-success timestamp for each feed are visible on our public status page.
Update frequency
Spot prices refresh every 1–5 minutes. Daily and weekly aggregates run hourly. Bank rate tables refresh on each business-day morning. Every page shows a "last updated" timestamp so you can see exactly when the figure was captured.
