0About this page
Free, browser-only watchlist with custom price alerts — favourites and alert rules live in your browser's localStorage and never leave your device. Updates as prices move. Tap the ★ on any crypto, gold, FX, fuel, stocks or rates page to add it; create alerts inline once it's saved.
Frequently asked questions
Is the watchlist free?
Yes — fully free, no account, no email signup. Tap the ★ on any asset page and it lands here. NowPrice does not sell premium tiers; the watchlist is part of the same browser-side toolkit as the calculators and portfolio.
Where is my watchlist stored?
In your browser's localStorage, under the key np_watchlist_v1. Nothing is sent to our server. That means the list is private to this device + browser, and clearing site data wipes it. Switching devices? Re-star your assets — there is no cloud sync.
What can I add?
Six niches: crypto (BTC, ETH and 500+ tickers), gold (XAU spot + COMEX futures), FX (24+ major and EM pairs), fuel (WTI, Brent, gasoline, diesel, natural gas), stocks (26+ global indices) and rates (30+ central-bank policy rates). Tap the ★ on any individual asset page — the star turns gold and the item appears in the matching section here.
How do price alerts work?
Tap the bell on any saved card and set a threshold — above/below an absolute price, or a percent move from now. NowPrice checks every minute against the same live JSON feed that powers the homepage; when it triggers, you get a browser push notification. No SMS, no email. Manage all active alerts inline on this page.
Does it sync across devices?
No — the watchlist is intentionally device-local. There is no account, so nothing follows you to another browser. The trade-off is privacy (zero server-side trace of what you watch). Use this URL as a bookmark on each device and re-star the assets you care about.
