About Shiba Inu
Shiba Inu launched in August 2020 as an Ethereum-based ERC-20 token created by an anonymous developer known as Ryoshi. It was designed as a community-driven experiment in decentralized meme tokens and quickly built a large following branded as the ShibArmy. Beyond the SHIB token, the project has expanded into a broader ecosystem that includes the LEASH and BONE tokens, a decentralized exchange called ShibaSwap, and Shibarium, a layer-2 network that uses BONE for gas and aims to reduce fees and increase throughput. SHIB has a very large circulating supply, and ongoing community burn programs gradually remove tokens from circulation.
