Sitka Expands High-Grade Gold at Blackjack Deposit, Hits 94.5m of 1.62 g/t Gold

Sitka Gold Corp. has released assay results from six additional diamond drill holes at its Blackjack deposit, part of the company's ongoing expansion drilling program. The results continue to demonstrate significant intervals of high-grade gold mineralization in step-out drilling, extending the known deposit footprint.

Drillhole DDRCCC-26-125 returned 94.5 metres grading 1.62 g/t gold, including a 2.0-metre interval of 11.85 g/t gold, plus a separate interval of 197.0 metres grading 1.06 g/t gold, including 2.0 metres of 9.95 g/t gold. Other highlights include DDRCCC-26-123 with 214.5 metres of 0.97 g/t gold (including 106.9 metres of 1.36 g/t gold and 2.0 metres of 15.45 g/t gold) and DDRCCC-26-126 with 153.1 metres of 1.33 g/t gold (including 110.0 metres of 1.63 g/t gold and 2.0 metres of 12.35 g/t gold). Over 18,000 metres of expansion drilling have been completed at Blackjack across 40 holes since the last update, underscoring the scale of the ongoing exploration effort.

For precious metals traders, these results are a positive indicator for Sitka Gold's project value, though the immediate impact on gold prices is limited as this is a company-specific exploration update rather than a macro driver. However, successful exploration results can influence sentiment in the junior gold mining sector, which often correlates with broader gold market trends. Live gold prices and charts on NowPrice show how the market is reacting to sector news, with spot gold remaining sensitive to macroeconomic factors such as interest rate expectations and geopolitical risks.

Investors will watch for further drill results from the remaining holes at Blackjack, as well as any resource update that may follow. The company's ability to continue expanding high-grade zones could support a future resource estimate, which would be a key catalyst for the stock. For now, the market will assess these results in the context of the broader gold price environment and the company's overall exploration strategy.
